Which port do SQL Server clients (Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer, etc) use?

SQL Clients (Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer, etc) use TCP port 1433. If you cannot connect to our SQL Server, make sure port 1433 is not blocked by your firewall.

Note: Some ISPs do not allow port 1433 connections to go through their network. If you find that to be that case, you can configure your SQL client to connect via the alternative port, 14330.
