For new domain registrations, your domain should be active within 24 hours. For customers using an existing domain name, your domain should be active within 24 to 72 hours of updating your domain's name server with the DiscountASP.NET DNS information. Please see

After signup, we provide you with an alternative FTP address and alternative URL which you can use to upload and view your web site while you are waiting for your new domain to be registered or your domain's name server updates to be completed.
You can find the alternative FTP and URL in the
"Account Info/Edit" section of the Control Panel.
