I cannot open the ASP.NET 1.1 starter kit project file with Visual Studio.net

In order for you to open the ASP.net 1.1 starter kit project file, you will need to do the following:
  1. Enable FrontPage Extensions on your account using the Frontpage tool in the Control Panel IIS Tools
  2. Open the FrontPage Web Admin (in the Control Panel FrontPage Tool)
  3. Create a subweb with the same name as your starter kit directory
