For example, if your primary domain is primary.com, and you use pointer.com as a domain pointer, if you set up the email address firstname.lastname@example.org, that mailbox will also accept mail for email@example.com.
Note: If the same message is sent to firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com you will receive two copies of the message in the firstname.lastname@example.org mailbox.
Domain Pointer Email Aliases can be activated in the Control Panel. Simply click the "Enable Email Alias" link to activate Domain Pointer Email Aliases.
When Domain Pointer Email Alias service is activated, a MX (mail) record is added to the pointer domain's DNS record.
