A domain pointer email alias is an email forwarded to the corresponding email address of your primary email account.
For example, if your primary domain is primary.com, and you use pointer.com as a domain pointer, if you set up the email address email@example.com, that mailbox will also accept mail for firstname.lastname@example.org.
Note: If the same message is sent to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org you will receive two copies of the message in the email@example.com mailbox.
Domain Pointer Email Aliases can be activated in the Control Panel. Simply click the "Enable Email Alias" link to activate Domain Pointer Email Aliases.
When Domain Pointer Email Alias service is activated, a MX (mail) record is added to the pointer domain's DNS record.
